Throwback Thursday

This is a song I remember my Mom playing all the time when I was a kid. It's the song that got me interested playing the violin.😀 I understand now what the song is talking about. We aren't much to look at.....who would want us, but then Jesus comes along......cleans us up and starts using us as He intended us to be used. Our live will make a beautiful song, with just a touch of the Masters hand.

This song is in my top 10 favorite songs of all time. One of the first songs I remember hearing as a kid. And now as an adult it has so much more meaning to me. We're living in the adventure God has planned for us. Each of our adventures looks totally different than someone else's, and in the valley of our adventure its hard not to want to put the breaks on and quit. BUT DON'T!!! God's got a plan that we can't see from our viewpoint. But at the end of our journey, we will be able to look back and see how God has all the pieces of our lives put together perfectly. And we will praise Him for our great adventure.

This is one of my favorite songs. What a great reminder that we are incapable apart from Christ. I am so thankful to serve a who a God "who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us," Ephesians 3:20.  He doesn't need us to accomplish His will, yet He chooses to use us for His honor and glory.
