Rev. Milton Brunson was more than just a choir leader. In 1948, while attending McKinley High School in Chicago, Brunson formed what eventual be known as The Thompson Community Singers. Brunson was musical innovator whose ministry and social impact will be remembered for many generations to come. Today a post office in his native Chicago is named after him to preserve his memory.
