My Head in a Jar and Vice-Versa

The Long Fall Back To Earth has been playing non-stop in the Music Department for the last two days.
It's a good album.
Jars of Clay seems to reinvent themselves with every album. That used to annoy me, but I'm sure they were more annoyed by people telling them to go back to the sound from their first album, so I guess everything is fair.
One thing that doesn't change is the fact that they make great music. Set against an 80's style backdrop, The Long Fall covers some familiar themes, but doesn't feel as weighty as their last album, Good Monsters. If you only buy twelve albums this year, The Long Fall Back To Earth would be a good addition to your collection.
And I don't want to ruin any surprises, but we have it on sale right now too.

Recent trip to Nashville.

I just got back to the store from Nashville after attening this years Gospel Music Association conference. I haven't been there since January in case you follow the blog and know that that was when I last posted. I've just been terribly lax in my blogging. Shame on me.

I learned a lot of interesting things on my trip. For instance, did you know that Brandon Heath's real name is Brandon Knell, but he uses his middle name (Heath) as his last name because no one can spell or pronounce his real last name correctly? Pretty cool.

I have a lot of new ideas about things like marketing, sales, and more. And even a renewed sense of purpose for this blog, if anyone is still following it. Thank you to those who are. Stay tuned.

New Release

Today's new release is from Jeremy Camp. His new cd "The Story's Not Over" is now in store. Stop on by and grab a copy. 😊...
