After the Thanksgiving holiday marks the beginning of the Advent and Christmas season. Christmas is associated with the giving of gifts. I never thought of giving gifts to others as an act of worship, but in a way it is. God lovingly gave us such an amazing gift of His only son that now we follow His examples. Giving gifts is an act of love, and what that love looks like changes with each person from serious, emotional, humorous, to chocolate loving (unless you are allergic).
